Summary of NeighborWorks Pocatello Committees
Responsible for evaluating the organization’s monthly financial statements (including balance sheet, profit & loss statement and cash flow statement), oversight of the annual budget process, contract compliance, annual audit, investment strategies and risk management policies. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the NeighborWorks Pocatello (NWP) conference room.
Community & Government Relations Committee
Promotes partnerships between community and government to meet the needs of residents living in the six NWP targeted neighborhoods. Provides a networking forum for neighborhood association representatives. Attendees include neighborhood association representatives, City of Pocatello Planning & Development Services Staff, Pocatello Police Representatives and other interested community representatives. Meetings are held 1st Wednesday of the month at 12:00 Noon in the NWP conference room.
Develops and markets the organization’s loan products. Approves loans according to current guidelines and procedures. Assures compliance with standard lending operating procedures and recommends updates to loan policies as needed. Ensure proceedings are kept in strict confidence. Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 4:00 pm in the NWP conference room.
Reviews general personnel management, including, but not limited to personnel policies and procedures, organizational structure, and salary and benefit structure. Acts as the NWP grievance committee. Meetings are held on an as needed basis.
Provides expertise for real estate projects developed in NWP service areas. Meetings are held second Wednesday of the month at 10:00am in the NWP conference room.
Resource Development Committee
Responsible for resources in the areas of volunteering, fundraising, and public image. Meetings are held 1st Tuesday of the month at 12:00 Noon at the NWP conference room.
